MacBook Air - Flatten and rebuild - Easy

My faithful old MBA 2013 is great but I think itd benefit from being freshened up.
I've reinstalled windows os loads of times but how easy is it to flatten and rebuild the OSX? I have Office, Jriver and a couple of other apps Id like to reinstall.

Its running Mojave Osx
