Following on from the ghost thread.....
Any believers in God on the forum?
The local church down the road from me has a tree outside that recently people have been hanging ribbons on and leaving notes, most the notes read along the lines of ‘let’s all pray and God will help rid the world of this virus’ I’m sorry but he won’t science will.
Personally (and this ain’t meant to offend) I am very against any sort of religion. The problems religion has and still does cause is mind blowing. Surely it is responsible for more deaths than anything in history.
My wife lost her best friend in a car ‘accident’ just outside Huddesfield in Denby Dale (quick google and you’ll find it) the w
kaa smashed out his face on crack decided to try commit suicide and plowed into her head on. He survived, she didn’t, leaving her young daughter and husband behind. He got 5 years in jail and 5 on license. This alone is enough for me to hold 2 fingers up at that fictional character in the sky if he does exist. (Not meant to offend anyone)
I’m prity sure by now it’s being proven how the world started do we really need to believe in this (in my opinion) myth?

Agree. I was sat in town with my son back when town was busy, when some god zombie started shouting bible versus a few feet away from us, I found it quiet offensive and when asked the lady nicely to please stop she just got louder. Believe what you want but it shouldn’t be aloud to go shouting about it in a public place. I respect their right to be delusional but I don't think it should impact on normal people.
