Afternoon all,

So I'm selling my F11 520d Touring to get a psychically smaller can and one that is ULEZ friendly. After checking the TFL website a Mk6 GTD seems to fit the bill, luckily I work just outside the ULEZ zone, so I'm fine either way.

I'm still fighting through some buyers / trolls who are aggressively offering low offers on my car (Why did I advertise on Face Book and not just Auto trader!)

I have found a 2012 GTD at 110k, FSH near me and have started positive negotiations with the seller. I have managed to get him to lower by a few £££, and upon checking the history I found this:

Can I ask if anyone has a rough idea on the cost of getting these parts, and is it a DIY job?

VW Parts (just springs)

ECP quick quote inc front arms (Assuming that is the issue)

Any advice would be greatly received!

Happy Sunday!

P.S. 40% off at ECP!

Corroded springs could just be an over zealous MOT tester, especially if they took it to a main dealer

I would reserve judgement before rushing to change parts

Cheers Basher,

I'm just pricing up for the worst case scenario. I fell foul of my (I was in a rush) Halfords MOT, where my Discs were picked up. they were fine.

But good point though.

Looks all fairly standard wear and tear considering age and mileage
