Morning all, got the dampers off the car yesterday for a rebuild and need to replace the springs at the same time.
As this is a perfect opportunity I thought i would check in as to what people are using, fast road and track use currently have 600lb on the front and 400lb rears.
I had heard from Mike Saunders he runs harder springs on the rear that the front as the Cerbera does have huge rear grip.
What are peoples thoughts?
Hard is not always fast but the standard rated springs were too soft with the suspension all but bottoming out at the rear when accelerating out of corners on the track.
I do not use the rear ARB either as that really slows the car down and makes it more tail happy.
Probably going to install these https://www.raceshocks.uk/automotive/tractive-susp... next year, too late for this year as wil miss too much good driving weather while the car is away having them fitted and set up.

I think that I am too soft with my Baby to be of any useful help.
With the standard set-up I only ever lost the rear but I figured that was 400 horses
having their wicked way with 12" of rubber
When I changed, I went to Jools for advice and he supplied me with Protechs and whatever he thought were appropriate springs.
I never questioned him.
The only thing I can say is that BlackBeauty turns in better than any other car I've driven - Road and Track !
and is bloody comfortable for an old b

I’m about to do the same on my road car as well.
The better the shock you have the lower the spring rate you can get away with. With the new ttx36 ohlins on the race car we are down to 650 on the front from 850! Some of the race cars run 1500’s!!!!
I’m not sure what to put on the road car. I’m thinking of going the same rate front and back. The racer has harder rears due to the downforce.
What do we think about 550 550 for the road? Would it be way to hard? I have always felt the Cerb feels better when it’s stiffer and less rolley....

Yup, 400 front, 350 rear. It was on the invoice.Product code 0900-225-0400S and 0900-225-0350SS 2.25" springs
