Comfortable seats - performance car
Discussion
I currently have a BMW M140i and I'm fed up with getting awful bad ache when doing any more than about 20 miles in it. Therefore I started looking for cars with comfortable seats however most of these seems to be luxury barges, range rover, s class etc. Is there such thing as a comfortable performance car that can be used daily for 15k pa. My budget is up to £30k, reasonable running costs, min 4 seats and a couple of years old max. Any recommendations?
FK8 wins lots of praise for seat comfort:- I like them, and so do passengers, and they're often praised in reviews as being miraculously comfortable - Paired with comfort mode you should enjoy the waft, and there's plenty about that should fit your criteria
For regular motorway miles, you should easily get 30+ MPG, With a number of people reporting ~40 for longer runs.
Other ownership costs can be kept low if you buy a car with the 5 year service plan; Tyres are an expense as the standard conti's don't last too long, I'm looking at upsizing to 255/35/20 on the next change as the tyres are cheaper, a fair bit of extra sidewall and there's still no issues with clearence in the arches.

Without wanting to be rude, what the f
k is an FK8? Not everyone speaks model codes.
Somewhere between Stirling and Loch Lomond...

For OP, Have a look at the new "Sport line" model; Was recently featured in an article - Trimmed down wing, toned down interior and a bit of extra comfort (Sound deadening, Smaller wheels)
If they ever get round to making any, that might be toned down enough for you

Any Volvo. Seats are great.
This. I also have an M140i and don't find the seats great. I just don't find they fit well and can be a bit stiff after a long drive. I recently bought an old Volvo V70 (2007) for shed money. It's just for doing long journeys and it has by far the comfiest seats I've ever sat on. The E400 coupe has some great seats:
