As as new PH member and Noble owner thought saying 'hello' would be a polite thing to do.

A few questions for you:

Does my 3R realy need the front black spoiler that catches the ground?

Any suggestions on padding for the roll cage bars? (Don't trust the alcantara to protect my head.)

Is that interior light for real?

Love the car. Enjoyed reading your earlier posts.

Front lip not required - I think its been posted offically by the factory that it is purely aesthetic.

Roll cage padding - currently FIA homologated stuff is fireproof, chunky and pretty hard stuff - still wouldn't do your head any favours. You can get it from Demon Tweeks amongst others.

Rally Design in Faversham do 2 alternatives - Crazy padding which is a semi-rigid and very light foam padding in various colours - red, blue, grey, black, yellow from memory. It is quite thick stuff however, think along the lines of the stuff that you lag pipes with and you'll get the idea. They also do some much more aesthetically pleasing black padding which is easier to fit, softer and more deformable - not maybe as good to really whack your head on in an emergency but pretty good if we're talking about exiting the car.

Hope that helps.

Welcome to the Nobility Loonie (an interesting choice of monica!)

What's up with your interior lights then?

As an alternative, a shop in the US has designed a light pod that fits above the interior mirror - check previous threads.

I've ordered some 50mm dia. "clubman padding" made by safety devices and available from demon tweeks; an instructer leant me some of the stuff at Cadwell Park the other week and it's just the job. It's thinner that the stuff I'd already got and is easily fixed with cable ties.

I think that the FIA stuff is too thick and so will get in the way when your wearing a helmet. My padding should arrive today so I'll let you have DT part numbers in due course; I couldn't find it on their website.

Oh and enjoy the car

Welcome to the Nobility!!

Get the front spoiler ground down. The Factory did mine and it looks so much better and doesn't catch anymore.

I have the Safety Devices padding although it is a little tight with my helmet on.

Interior light, yes it's hardly the most attractive but can't be bothered to mess with it.

I should have mentioned that you've got slightly more clearance in a M400 due to the revised seat position.
