Whilst I accept that this is against the spirit and guidance of 'Lockdown', what harm is being done by a liaison with your lover even if he's still married?

Seems an unnecessary resignation to me or are we to expect our elected representatives to behave above and beyond the norms in society, today?

Any others within the 650 wish to own up to anything else while we're at it??

SPAD's need not reply!

The problem when you are a public figure, especially in government or opposition is that your actions carry a greater impact that normal members of the public.

Dominic Cummings and this latest offender are unlikely to be causing a significant risk in terms of virus spread. In fact, I’d argue they are using a logical approach to the current situation.

The issue is that they are seen to be part of the moronically simple message of stay home, blah blah blah so are rightly under greater scrutiny.

She should quit as an mp and run A local election.

Then all the voters who have had their jobs, finances and saving destroyed can vote for who they wish

I understand the point you make however, why, in this day and age, are we expecting MP's to be above normal, human behaviour? Would she be expected to resign in any other business environment albeit holding a senior position?
