Having somehow reached the age of threescore and five, I've seen many, many things.
Some of impressed me, such as HMS Victory and what remains of the German artillery battery
at Longues-sur-Mer in Normandy. Because I have an imagination, I could picture what it must've been like
fighting the French at sea in 1805 or living through Allied carpet bombing and naval gunfire in 1944.

Perhaps cynicism has me in its grip but not much impresses me nowadays and to be amazed by something
is all too rare. And to be particularly traken with some outcome of human endeavour at least shows that one is alive
and compos mentis.

yes, I was greatly taken with the Aliens 'ride' I know perfectly well it's no more real than a Pixar film. But those are for
kids, while what I posted is sufficiently well crafted to be more than just engaging. For my part, I couldn't even storyboard it, let alone realise it.
Someone has worked astonishingly hard and can show their mastery of the technology involved.

If this offends, just consider the alternatives. Britain's got Masterchef? The Great Celebrity Talent Off? Strictly
Come Baking? Do me a favour. Chewing gum for the eyes that isn't remotely interesting.
