Inspired by the Hodinkee two watch collection series.
Share your ideal three watch box, cover all scenarios selection.

I've extended from two to three to cover the inevitable "keep a G Shock for when I'm at the gym / deployed on the rigs / elbow deep in cement".

No rules. No price limits. Just share your perfect three.

For me, it would be something like...

Work - GS SBGK005
Evenings and Weekends - Patek 5164a
Everything Else - 36mm Explorer 1

What is this "three watch box" you speak of ??

Do you leave the other seven cushions empty confused

For a worker factory based
For the week Something robust
For the weekend Something fancypants
No'3 Something unusual/expensive

Shirker office based
For the week Something fancypants
For the weekend Something robust
No'3 Something expensive/unusual

Robust Omega Seamaster (Steel bracelet)
Fancypants Blancpain fifty fathoms (Sailcloth/leather - Maybe Chronograph & Whitegold)
No'3 Something limited edition maybr AP RO or Hublot

Its theoretical, obviously I don't have the self control for this!
I agree with your methodology... but would want something dressier rather than the Blancpain diver.

Difficult, but I'd go along the lines of something like:

Submariner 14060m
AP ROO chrono
Patek 5711

To paraphrase the great Frankenferter to Janet …. I didn't built it for you thumbup

Your right I think my list is too 'Diver' heavy

From my personal collection
Maybe the Seiko SPS001, Blancpain & Jeans Hublot

But I'd be loath to give up either my Snoopy or Pacman frown

From my current collection it would probably be a tag F1, seiko samurai save the ocean and a gd-400 gshock

Perfect mix of quartz, automatic and digital!

I thought about the Apple Watch too, but thought it would be obsolete in a few years.

If you could always get the current model I’d probably put it in my list
