willys jeep battery recommendations?
Discussion
have a '43 jeep. battery has sadly ran flat for good due to little use and some muppet.....left the 1/4 lights on.
so, wondered who people use here for their battery supplier? prices seem to wing around a bit.
id like a 6v and probably @150ah to crank the life back into the engine.
recommendations most welcome.

Have just bought one , charged it at the weekend , not fitted yet !
Got it from Lincon Batteries , down Southend way . Their part Number 511 / 21
They have a website showing it at £172 but mine went through £20 cheaper, no idea why !
Only downside is , unless your local , they ship dry , with the acid in bottles .
This they are not allowed to ship to private addresses, not a problem for me as I had it shipped to work, came next day !

The one I bought is a 146AH, cranking is strong but as you know pretty slow anyway, as normal on 6V.
Had no real starting issues until it died, think my voltage regulator killed it, not wanting a repeat I have bought the electronic conversion for increased reliability and peace of mind.
I spent a while researching options before choice, it was a direct swap for the one I bought from Jeffrey Eng years ago when they rebuilt my engine.
Tried Dallas ,out of stock and collection only, as were many others, guess it's going to come down to your location, re collection and price.
