Well as it appears to be ending for most people this week, I thought I'd kick this off.

1.) Why is Elton John turning into Vic Reeves Pub Singer and what had that piano done for him to need to punish it that much?

2.) If you walk 214 miles in 61 days you will wear out a pair of shoes.

3.) It is possible to go 2 months without watching a single repeat of Top Gear. But only just..

4.) The Lego Batman Movie is ridiculously entertaining.

5.) Buying coffee in bulk is a good thing.

6.) Whoever invented those small plastic Ant Hotels is a genius. They must be to have worked out just what the perfect poison is for them.

7.) People have begun to take ESports far too seriously. ITS NOT REAL!

8.) Here's a conspiracy theory for you. Forget about 5G, the sideburns that I have been growing during all of this are much thicker on the left side of my head than the right. The right side of my head is the side where I answer my mobile.....

9.) Miami Vice. I have been watching some repeats and something has occurred to me, is Tubbs real? He only seems to offer Crockett advice, most of the other team members barely talk to him and one minute he's seems to be telling Sonny about what it was like growing up in the ghetto, then its the bayou and then its the city. Is he the ghost of a former partner? Are the other cops just humouring Crockett? Is Tubbs real? Lets make this a thing.

10.) If you are going to be interviewed by the media on Zoom, make sure you have a guitar hanging on your wall behind you. Then everyone will know that although you might be an expert on micro-biology/economics/the movements of government advisors now, you & your rad band used to kick it old school back in Uni.

So until September when we have to go through all this again because everyone seems to have forgotten what social distancing means overnight, hey-ho its back to work we go!

1) Lockdown is just like alcohol: if a person is nice/nasty/busybody/calm they just become more so under its influence
2) It turns out that women can go 3 months without a haircut and still look fine. Men look horrendous, though.
3) Over here in the USA, wearing or not wearing a mask has become a political statement. I'm tempted to keep wearing mine long-term to show my political leanings.
4) Not eating out or going to bars saves an unbelievable amount of money, and I'd always thought we cooked at home often before.
5) It turns out that empty roads make for even worse drivers.
6) Dogs don't understand social distancing. My GSDs keep gazing longingly at the people who would previously have crossed the street to give them a pat or a belly rub.
7) At least here, inflation figures bear no relationship to the reality of spiking food prices.
8) I'll appreciate family members more after this, and make sure I find time to visit them whenever I'm in the right country
9) Notwithstanding 4, having a beer at home just isn't the same as going to the pub
10) Being forced to experiment with whatever was left on the shelf has thrown up a few new ideas. Roasted tomato soup works well in lasagne!

People are all too eager to live under tyranny
Everyone is a doctor
The bigger the TV in your lounge, the more likely you are to go on social media and bang on about not sending your children back to school
The government will do anything possible to maintain house prices
Everyone should have a garden
You realise how much you drink when every can and bottle is in the recycle bin
Scotland talked the talk but didn't walk the walk. They have been disastrous
The government wanted herd immunity all along. They said it, then they realised they shouldn't, so they just got on with letting people out
Many people live in fear of a disease that they probably won't catch, when they are overweight and looking down the barrel of a heart disease rifle
Very few people have savings for a rainy day, some have savings for a rainy decade.
