Hello,

I've acquired a towbar sized dent in the lower read bumper (?) of my BMW 5 series msport (g30) 2018.

Its a lease car due back in a couple of months so I don't want to spend more than required repairing it.

I just wondered if fixing it is something I could attempt as a complete novice? I'm not sure if the lower bumper (?) is plastic/metal. Again does someone know?

I've attached a couple of pics for reference.

Thanks for any constructive advice

It's plastic, try heating it with a hairdryer and it may remember it's previous shape YouTube it.

Thanks I’ll try that. I see some people use hot water also.
It doesn’t seem that easy to get to the other side to push it out
