!! Warning !! Ultima Serial Tyrekicker

After spending considerable time and effort bringing my GTR to the market place, negotiating with interested parties, and closing down the sale to other interested parties, I have been let down last minute by a tyre kicker. The deal was done, and under normal rules of sale I should have taken a small holding deposit, [b]but due to the fact that it was a middle aged women[/b], for some reason I waited for the 50% deposit as promised. Today I received a plethora of excuses saying that, "the car was too expensive to insure", (£1200), or "too fast", or just "not for her" and that although I have had three firm "yes I will have it" conversations, and cancelled my previous buyers, it was not to be.
The reason that I am posting this here is as a warning to others that are selling their cars as after to speaking to other Ultima owners, it would appear I am number three who has been through the same ordeal with the same person. This women also slates the previous cars she had been to see saying that they were not as advertised, or were not good enough - hence giving an excuse for viewing the next one and the title of serial tyre kicker. She found no faults when she inspected my car.
So if anyone receives extreme interest from a middle aged female who claims to have the necessary funds and is "desperate to buy an Ultima" please contact me so I can release the details privately and not on here inline with Ted's name and shame policy. Owners I have spoken to agree that a testride was all she was really after.
Has anyone else has had similar dealings with this person, maybe there are more ?

Golden rule, NEVER promise to hold a car for somebody when you have other interested parties waiting in the wings, same goes for selling a house......
One guy many years ago agreed to buy a car I was selling, asked me to change the oil and filter, (which I foolishly did) then rang up two days later to say he had changed his mind....
No more Mr. nice guy.......
Harsh, but at the end of the day you have got to look after number one.........

Yes thats her although her real name is not Louise, now she's bidding on Alans' Canam under the psydoname of Louise, I just checked with eBay. Its no coincedence that her login name just matches her age and that the ebay account states that she comes from Hounslow
I feel for you guys, there are some quality cars for sale and all you need is someone like this spoiling the experience for someone else.
And on a side note £30k for Alan's car is a steal as it is (no pun intended).
I wish there was a car like that for sale before I went for the £48k build it yourself
I go with Pete's view too, there should be somewhere to warn others of potential tyre kickers. Only down side would be that it would require some form of review before only the post to go ahead.

Just tried it again, at 4.30, and same result... might be a problem with your internet provider rather than your server, maybe the've given up in the hot sun!

Back on topic, I have never seen anyone so hell bent on lying in order to blag a ride - other than that I can find no other reason for causing all the stress. There again these cars do produce interest like no other car I have ever owned.

I have loads of these free Gmail accounts to give away if anyone wants a decent free email address. They are especially useful as they give you well over 2 gigabytes of storage and you don't have to log in every month like you do with Hotmail.

NO IT ISN'T THE LADY IN QUESTION!!!
Louise is a serous bidder, I HAVE MET HER.
Unfortunately I have also met the other lady, the tyre kicker.
I can also provide details should anyone want them and not able to get hold of Simon (whose email appears to be playing up).
And yes 30K is a steal, I will not let it go for that
