Slight Wing Mirror Wobble
Discussion
Hi all - something I’ve been meaning to seek advice on for a while (but hasn’t been high on the priority list)... i have a bit of movement/ wobble in the nearside (passenger side) wing mirror of my 2012 DBS. Not a big issue- except above 60ish mph when you can hear the vibration noise in the cabin.
For now, I’ve stopped the wobble by inserting a little rubber between the arm and mirror unit- but I’d like a proper fix (in part, because with the rubber in place it’s not then ideal to retract the wing mirrors).
I’ve seen a video on Aston1936 to fix a similar issue on his DB9.1 (a simple matter of tightening an inner nut, revealed by removing the wing mirror cap)... but the DBS wing mirror is a different design.
Has anyone suffered with this and know how to remedy it?
I’m not sure if the DB9.2 wing mirrors are the same design and may suffer the same problem... and hence have a known fix?
Thanks
Howard.
