Hi folks, I've had this car for a few years and went for the M-Sport plus package including upgraded brakes calipers.

At last years MOT it failed because of brake pad wear, which was surprising given the car was only 3 years old! But it is a heavy car after all.
They also wanted to replace the discs because of corrosion, but it was corrosion on the outer edge (eg normal) and the disc surface was fine.

However, the disc may be warped at the front, probably front right so may require replacement.

I think the discs are Brembo 370mm (I think the original option discs 340mm), they are vented but solid, eg so limited heat dissipation.

Considering replacement if I have to, probably would not go down the OEM route as they are about £300 per disc?! Pretty sure there will be a better and cheaper option in aftermarket.
Same size obviously but thinking drilled for better heat dissipation, may prevent warping in future.

Any suggestions?

Its for road use. The car has been on a track but it was a private day and just for a bit of fun in the rain.

I have the same brake setup on F31 330d.

First off - have the discs measured for thickness before going ahead and changing them - minimum thickness is 28.4mm.

It is unlikely that the disc itself is warped - it is a common misconception - the sensation of wheel wobble under braking is often caused by pad contamination / uneven wear or tyre balancing.

£300 per disc is an insane price for the parts only. It is a rebranded Brembo 4 piston setup, so Brembo is the OEM technically.

For mine (370mm front and 340mm rear), they are £129 and £114mm respectively.

Have a check!

These corrode very badly on the inside face, you can get them from euros but they are still expensive.
