He appears to have some political views like everyone else but he is able to promote them with his billions. He is likely no worse than anyone else with billions. Most of us will never know such wealth but imagine if you could buy everything you ever wanted twice over you would look at other ways to stimulate yourself and politics or the environment would fit the bill
