Discussion
After a loooooong break, I’ve started to mix again.
Here are a couple, tried and tested (many will be familiar):

Yes sir, they're up there now.
Hmm, maybe just me. Im not seeing them?Otherwise, all good

Here they are ('Outbeak' first, then 'Memories....'). I have also added another version of 'Outbreak', replacing the first tune with 'Last Showdown (Original Mix)' by Uone, Western.
Cheers!

Nice work
What gear did you go for and have you been tempted to start playing around with production at all?
Thanks Ben! I just used the freeware version of Traktor and my PC for this. I will probably pick up a controller soon, as using a mouse doesn't really work and you need to be able to control a lot more than the fader to get the levels and effects working.

I was a fairly committed bedroom DJ until 2003 (played out only a handful of times), when my daughter was born and everything changed :-)
I've always kept in touch with the music (Sasha, Digweed, Dave Seaman, Quivver etc) and now I'm through the other side, I thought I'd dive in again. I would like to get into production, but I want to learn an instrument and get a handle on the theory (at least the basics).
Things have moved on so much from the days of 1210s and vinyl, but no matter how the tech advances, nothing will replace tune selection and passion. The amount of lockdown streams is insane. Digweed every Sat, Carl Cox recreated F.A.C.T. on vinyl live on Facebook today. Great times :-)

I will have a good listen. There's no end to the good music out there. However well I feel I know what's out there, there are always new and old gems to discover so it's handy to compare notes!

Indeed there is! Robert Nickson has turned his hand to some retro/synth wave as Analog 82. Bizarre, but it works. Well for me anyway.
A couple more......I have a Traktor S2 now; entry level but it's ok.
