Hi all.
I have come across the website of YourNextCar.co.uk and they seem to be a BMW specialist.
Looks like most of the BMWs have had a body kit added and it does make the car more attractive.
Some of the models look lovely and prices look pretty good too.

Has anyone had any involvement with them? I've not contacted them yet but I may me interested in making the journey to see what deal I could get if all is above board.

Any personal advise with them would be appreciated, thanks

If they are chucking fake M Performance kits onto the car and selling them for the same or less than a non-kitted car, you need to ask why.

Whats the chances they are non-recorded damaged or they come from the auctions where all the rough cars end up and are then tarted up?

Think of all those lease returns that have loads of damage. No main or decent indy is going to touch them with a barge pole. However if you can buy them cheap, chuck a cheap bodykit on them (especially if the bumpers are cracked/scuffed anyway) and some replica wheels you will attract the local innit bruvs who want to look a G.

Thanks for your reply. You've made me thick twice and rightly so...
Think you are bang on and these could well be hard driven ex PCP cars that have had small damage to them and they have 'glittered' them up.

SJamesPrestige do something similar. A buddy of mine bought a C class from them and he didn't seem to have any complaints. Even had some very minor issues with the car afterwards, which they replaced for free.

Shrug. You take your chances I guess.

When I was looking for a car, that company’s cars cropped up quite a bit on my searches.

Only thing that put me off, is that they seem to do so many cars, they tend to use a photograph of a ‘similar’ car.

Silly as it sounds, that made me skim past their adverts.

I bought my 340i Touring from S James Prestige last January (2019) and as you say they put the M bodykits on their cars.. However the attention to detail from them is fantastic.. Iam probably the most fussy customer on planet earth and I turned up sceptical and literally went over the car with a fine tooth comb and could not find a single thing that concerned me, They have a team of really experienced people working there, I still remember collecting the car (which was almost 4 years old) and feeling like I was collecting a brand new car, It had been detailed inside and out like I have never seen before.
Have not dealt with 'Your next car' but see their cars advertised regularly and have heard nothing negative..... If I was after another 340 or 335 I would be buying from one of these company's unless something on BMW AUC was looking decently priced.

It almost put me off as well but glad it didn't.. They sell their cars so quick they get them in and prepare and detail them properly and they fly out..

I kept missing cars as they sold so bloody quick.. Go visit and you will be impressed

We were getting rid of our farm's old mitsubishi shogun a few years ago. It had an undiagnosed engine fault (turned out later to be a collapsed crank pulley).

I had a call from a guy who wanted it. We arranged for one of his guys to come and see it
He said they were farmers.

Really weird sounding guy on the phone. Quite abrupt. They didn't arrive on time and i was getting fed up waiting. Rang him to tell him to forget it, at which point he turned even weirder and a bit threatening.

At that point i googled his phone number and it came up with dozens of hits from various websites warning of threatening behaviour. Basically avoid like the plague.

At that point i got my dad to come over.

Few hours later two youths turn up. Blacked out windows. "Innit bruv", etc.

They were wearing fleeces with that company's logo on it. At that point the penny dropped.

I said "i thought you were farmers?".

They looked surprised. "Erm...yeah we are"

"What do you grow then?"

"Asparagus"

I was too busy laughing to ask much more.

They listened to the engine. Got their boss on the phone. He told us the engine was ruined and they would pay us a grand (was asking £2k). Told them to go away

In the end i replaced tbe pulley and sold it to a mate who uses it for off roading.

I would avoid these guys, unless you like asparagus
