Im surprised this hasn't been mentioned

seems a good idea ruined by the usual sensationalized commentary, and spending a couple of minutes before each add break telling you whats happening next.
(i hate that)

This could have been so much better with more technical input,

An a319 was being broken so they show pics of an a380 and then a diagram of an a320, was just one of the mistakes

Then the herc one was accompanied by pics of an american one

I did, though it was on a 747 thread in BP&T.

Did they do the old 'If the crane falls over it will kill everyone..' - but phew guess what it didn't...?

This really shoud've been a segment on Scrap Kings tbh. It amuses me the way they have the narrator repeating the claim that their a reclaimation yard & not a scrap yard.

I think the programme is a bore, the process just repeats each programme.

Saw the advert, the commentator is annoying and ruins it. Didnt bother watching it.

Reminds me of the Sewer men prog on channel 5, it was full of sexual innuendos, was crass. 'Tommy is going to stick his big hose in Dawn's pipe work and blast her blockage'. Funny the first time, not the 400th.

there's a generic format they all follow

Never seen it but there'll be Cookie cutter characters, oh look the annoying but driven boss, exasperated workforce, totes you need a nerdy one, give me some slut for the gawps fug me we have a documentary.

An episode of "car chasers" rolled onto my telly the other day and my god what a travesty. I mean there's mileage in being a third rate gas monkey ripoff but give it a personality you tykes. rather than 80% of the show being mr big dick "negotiating" his deals. Do people actually like that?

Yes but it's cheap. Just turn up with a camera. Record blokes taking planes apart. Add a bit of commentary, job done. And repeat & repeat & repeat ..........ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Series 4. Van Reclaimers
Series 5. HGV Reclaimers

Much the same with Aussie Opal Hunters. 'Two rough blokes called Bruce dig holes in red sand with a big thingy that breaks'.
