Hi! Does anybody have experience of temporary, removeable camper kits like this?

http://visu.camp/en

I could use the flexibility of a van that can become a bit more comfy without full conversion!

This sort of conversion is very popular in New Zealand - I suggest you try checking out rental, etc, sites based there.

The VISU setup looks pretty decent if it suits your needs.
https://exploria-online.co.uk/kombi-beds.aspx Is another style with just the bed.
https://www.theplyguys.co.uk/product-page/revoluti... Is another interesting setup (perhaps harder to store out of the van)
I did see another which essentially needed some side fittings, but I can’t find the link.

There are a load of diy jobbies people have done.
Makes a lot of sense in many ways. The Swiss Army knife of campers!

Thanks for the replies, will have a look through some of those links.

Storage of the removed kit isn't an issue for me, I do like the look of these pre-built systems since DIY isn't my strong point and I don't think sticking a few IKEA specials in the back is a good idea smile

I have a VW t5 shuttle that I have converted to Caravelle seating, I can have it as a seven seater or remove the two single seats and use it with a multiboard and use it as a camper ( large double bed) but no kitchen etc.
Or i can remove the lot and i have a good size van. it a good option although not cheap. to a van / mimibus / camper without a kitchen / toilet.
