What scams are all the rage at the moment

And many of the above characters are involved in amazon sellers courses where you can make millions in a week just by sending £100 quid etc
Again, many of the above are also involved Raffles, health supplements, diet pills, fake tan tablets, various other injections, horse betting etc
The majority seem to be Instagram driven
Curious to know what the latest and greatest is.

t about a similar scheme. Now I'm not stupid, but i also worked with someone who did 3 years under such a scheme. Paid minimum wage, and the rest as a grant.
And then the HMRC sent him.a letter. His arse was twitching for months.
Selling sports equipment on Amazon market place. A colleague of mine bought a cross trainer and exercise bike from separate suppliers. Both supposedly delivered by their own van but were not. When digging deeper it turns out they are the same company and loads of people are complaining about falsely recorded delivery. Amazon aren’t interested.
During the lock down, I bought some much needed hair clippers on e bay UK. Maybe
I should have suspected something with the “free postage international” but many do it. They duly never arrived, opened a paypal case and money was refunded. It seems many others fell foul of this and the seller and his listings were removed.
I was just about heading back to my 1980’s look by the time I got to a hairdresser lol.

For the difference in money the hassle that comes with eBay and PayPal just isn't worth it. I should have suspected something with the “free postage international” but many do it. Use Amazon proper (not marketplace), pay by card. I do 50+ orders each month this way and have never had a single problem.

I received an E mail from HMRC in the week. I was due a tax refund of £550.
Click on the link they ask me to verify who I am.
Continue and it asks for my CC and bank details.
It absolutely looked 100% genuine, type faces, links, Covid and cookies warning.
I’m actually still unsure as to whether I’m missing out!
