Cheap tablet for Bubble UPnP ?
Discussion
Since it's impossible to find a decent UPnP program for Windows (I must have tried them all), it seems I will have to keep my ageing Lenovo tablet open next to me on the desk.
The Leonovo is on Android 6 and seems to be running out of steam. Laggy and slow. Battery seems to last a day at most, and usually less. So it now stays plugged in nearly all the time.
I use it for one thing only - Bubble UPnP.
Time for a replacement ???
Anyone bought a cheapy tablet, say 8 inch or 10 inch, with a reasonable screen (for old-person eyes), that has reasonable battery life, they would recommend to me ?

If its only doing one thing and your prepared to have it plugged in all the time, why not flash a new ROM to the current device, strip out all the stuff you don't need as well.
Basically just run essential services and the app you want. Will run a lot better! You can probably find an Android 8/9 or even 10 ROM for it.
Which Lenovo is it?

I think it is a real shame that Ubuntu mobile never really took off for tablets etc to bring a new lease of life to old tablets like they do for PCs or lappys.
Yeh' I've got Ubuntu Touch on an old Nexus 1 and to be honest as a mobile device its not very good. Tablet form would probably be a lot better.
