Honesty boxes

My wife is a keen Gardner she decided to put a couple of table in our front garden and sell some plants as garden centres are so expensive .i put an honesty box on wall great sold a few 2 days ago about 10 plants had gone result opened the box£1.75 should have been at least £10 yep there we go there been pinched they wer between 50p And £1 what is wrong with these tight fisted pond life's if only I could find out who nicked them . So all removed now another waste of time

Any use of honesty boxes should be done so in preparation for this circumstance.

There is a reason they aren’t widely used. Most people will always try to get away with the cheapest, easiest path of least resistance
