Yes love mine , it’s my first dsg and I really like it, bit boring to look at though , could be any Leon with big wheels, 16k in still on original tyres and not a thing has broke unlike my golf r

In comparison to the golf R do you feel like it is quick? Also what’s the exhaust sound like ?

No pops and cracks on downshift and no bangs on upshift VS loads on the 300.

I think the exhaust is louder than the 300 though.

More low down linear power VS a massive gob of power at higher revs on the 300.

I find 7th gear annoying, might be great on motorways though.

Sports mode is not as aggressive as the 300.

It doesn’t feel as quick as the golf to me, but you could just floor the golf and it went you can’t really do that with the 290, I can’t hear the exhaust from inside the car but it does sound nice outside, it’s a lot more involving than the golf , which I like but can understand anyone who prefers the r
