Guys, my griff is coming up for its first service since I owned it.

Its done 16k and was registered in 1996; has had regular servicing from TVR registered dealerships.

I want to keep the service history spot on but dont want to pay a fortune for servicing - any tips in the London area for fixed price & good quality servicing from a dealer I can trust?

Depends on where in London you are - up here in North London there is the TVR Centre in Barnet, a well respected TVR dealer, or you may want to consider Tower View nr Brent Cross, one of the most highly regarded independents around.

Personally I'm happy taking mine down the independent route even though my previous service history has been all dealer.

A couple of people have recommended Tower View to me, so I plan to try them for next work on my Grif. I bought my Grif from HR Owen, and after bad experiences with them during insurance repairs, I went independant - no regrets. I don't know how much an official TVR dealer FSH is worth compared to an independant FSH, but I'd rather have the work done by the best I can get; and anyway, I don't plan to sell.
