5 Series or 7 Series - Pls help (Latest)

First post - exciting times!
Currently in the process of upgrading my car and looking at these two options: a brand new 520d or a 2017 730d with 30k miles (both base with no options). Getting these financed on a 3 year PCP comes to very similar numbers so want to understand which makes more sense (insurance isn't too different either).
Really hoping for your advice: don't have much use for rear seats, so does that mean it's definitely the 5 that's worth getting or is the 7 far more comfortable and has way better tech / sound dampening etc? What other factors are there to consider?

Went to test drive both and answering myself in case anyone has a similar question: drove a 2018 520d & a 2020 730d. The interior feels similar enough in both and wouldn't warrant the price increase; but the ride quality is hugely better in the 7 - soaks up bumps significantly better and more comfortable to be in. The power from base 730d is also significantly better than the base 520d and really noticeable.
