Map Update 2020 available

My 2017 4 Series has just had a message "Map Update available" ... I just want to get rid of the message, I am not going to pay for a USB stick to be posted to me. What do I do?

Where part of the menu, displays the message ?

Curious, as I’ve never seen that on mine.

Does your car get ‘over the air updates’ by any chance ?

I had the same message when the car was used yesterday (F20 125i).

I have the OTA map update subscription so will check in the morning to see if it updated.

Clicking the message in notifications yesterday did nothing.

Had the sane message too. It’s now vanished so I assume that it’s been done over the air as requested (guessing it took a while due to my car doing more short trips at the mo).

I had that one too. Didn't know if the car* would update it OTA or not, it didn't say much other than something about USB. *2019 3 Series Touring.

I had one too - even though I'm already on 2020-2 maps! It disappeared pretty quickly though.
I tink that message was just a BMW Connected cock-up.

Had the notification that an update was available today while driving, updated via OTA.

Now on 2020-2 maps.
