Super unleaded Ryde (Isle of Wight) ?

My dad is on holiday in Ryde (in his Griff) - does anyone know where you can buy Super unleaded near there? Or a website that tells you where you can buy super?

Great I was about to ask the same question. I'm off to the IOW today in my Tusc. I assume that the ferry is okay for clearances? (height of the car and all that Jazz)

I have a Cerbera 4.5 and live in the IOW. You can find super unloeaded in the road from Ryde to East Cowes just a couple of mile before the big roundabout. This is a Texaco garage.
There is another garage called National that serves BP fuel in the road from the previously menitioned roudabout to newport (just when entering Newport).

Is the IOW big enough to use a TVR on?!?! Surely you'd be in the sea before you got to 3/4 throttle......

You can use full throttle in a TVR on the IOW.

I should know, I live next door to Javi and have a Griffith 500

SUL can be had from Fairlee Garage (on Fairlee road in Newport), Harwoods Garage in Wooton, and Totland Garage (in Totland...)

Hi, I'm back from the IOW. It was for me that Chris (cdt) started this thread. I didn't find any Super Unleaded, so had to use 95 as I was very low on fuel. Hope that won't cause any lasting problems. She seemed to run ok. Anyway, I know where to get some next time, thanks.

Never saw any other TVR's there. Where were you all hiding?

Didn't have any problems with the ferry. I just asked to go on the lower deck to avoid the ramps.

Couldn't have wished for better weather last week for cruising around the country lanes with the top off. Sunny and very hot.
