My mate had silver 911 - I've no idea what variant, it was fat at the back, and it had a dogs cock bright red interior with bright yellow piping. I'm sure that porn films had been made it.

I always thought that the Noble M12 was let down by the interior from a kit car:

For me it would be one of those full-effect Porsche interiors from the 80s.

I find the green efforts particularly naff... I know some love them, fair enough, I just couldn’t do it.

Yep that is a little ... challenging on the eyes.

44 year old car interior design in hasn't dated well shocker. The touch sensitive buttons predate even the ZX80 by a few years.

ETA, this is a hugely innovative and very simple, straight forward design, that works really well with the exterior.
Also it has aged very well! Tesla with the model 3 and Honda with that urban design concept do look very similar in many points.

As a young lad, I had the privilege of spending a week with the Lagonda factory demonstrator sitting on the AML 1 number plate in 1981. It was loaned to IPC magazines for a photo shoot and my father was fortunate enough to be able to drive it home every night from work. It left a lasting impression and very much seemed a car from the future.

Yes, the colour choice is a bit questionable, but I like the design - very different from other premium stuff.
