Peugeot 306 hdi 2.0 1999 Lack of power

The car has suddenly lost power, there are no noises from engine it is running fine. No smoke out of exhaust. I have cleaned the MAF sensor. The engine is completely flat. I am wondering any of the hoses at rear of engine could be faulty. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Have someone rev the engine to about 1500 RPM and see if there is a good flow of exhaust out of the tailpipe. Be warned, it will be hot.

Sounds like a split/disconnected hose somewhere on the boost side. On of the joints on the HDi is famous for popping off, IIRC.
