Anyone decode the year of my sons bike?

Normally the 10th digit indicates the year. So I'd say (8) makes it a 2008 model.

Is there a model label on the bike, or a type label riveted/glued on ?
I found an overview of PW80s, scroll down, the fact that there is no letter after the "4BC" makes it difficult.

There is also a model label, but the location varies, some years have it on the frame tube under the tank,
some years on a frame cross tube under the seat :
