Hi,
Can anyone recommend a tyre supplier/fitter in the North Cotswolds area of Gloucestshire/Worcestershire?
Going with standard size Michelin PS4 to replace the Pirellis on my V12VS.
Thanks in advance.
Not sure if you are looking for competitive prices or something else. Can anyone recommend a tyre supplier/fitter in the North Cotswolds area of Gloucestshire/Worcestershire?

If you are looking for someone who really 'cares' then Cirencester Tyre & Exhaust always gets my vote - but they aren't always the cheapest and aren't exactly in the North Cotswolds !!
I have also used Protyre in Gloucester - but took the wheels to them to ensure the AM was jacked up appropriately.
No problem. Let me know how you get on - I'm going to be fitting Michelins to my V8V to replace the original Brickstones and I was planning to use BR, even though they're an hour from me. I'd rather trust an Aston specialist like BR than any old tyre place and I'm not sure my local official dealer would like (or be allowed) to fit non-specified tyres

I spoke to Mike on this when I was down at BR a few months ago and I think he mentioned either Black Circles or Camskill. I think your V12V takes different sizes to mine.
I don't know what Mike will charge, but at least he knows all about the TPM systems and the correct wheel bolt torquing procedure - I don't think you'd get that from somewhere like National Tyres - more likely they'd just use an impact driver
It might also be worth asking Mike for his recommendations for tyres, especially as he's ex-AML. He was critical of the V8V Bridgestones as he said that tyre technology had moved on since they were specified and the Michelins were so much better, but I don't think he thought the original V12V Pirellis were as bad.

Same with me re using an Aston Specialist rather than a regular tyre place. AM Cheltenham said they could do it, but highly recommended I stick with the standard Pirellis - as you would fully expect. I’ll get some quotes.
I don't think AMChelt do it themselves - I think they take it to an outside shopGassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
