Mk3 Golf convertibles, talk to me
Discussion
I'm considering one of these as a "summer fun" car. The appeal is, relatively inexpensive to buy, simple to maintain, solid roof down motoring, seats more than 2. I actually like the shape and have always been a mk3 fan (looks wise, never owned one). I understand they're a bit slow and not so "sporty" to drive.
I believe that with the Mk1 cabriolets, their inherent qualities actually made them a good ownership experience. Wondering whether the same applies to the mk3s?
There seems to be very little info about them out there.
