No worries James, many thanks to you & Steve for the invite,
We had a great day looking at all your cars, must have been about 40 or 50 cars. It was nice to see the similarities with an Opel Commodore & our Aussie VB Holden Commodore. Loved the Lotus Carlton’s & the Opel Monza. Shame Peter Brock never got to mass-produce the Monza with a Holden 5.0L in it.
It was a good venue at Duxford Air field, I’m not a plane spotter or anything, but Trev & I enjoyed having a look around the old planes. That was the first time I have been on a Concord, shame it was not going somewhere like Aussie ha ha.
Thanks again mate, & thank you to the entire Club for making Ken, Trev & I so welcome.
I got some good pics if you want me to send you some,
Regards,

Hi Rob
Good to see you had a great day at Duxford.Lost count of the times i've been there. Me and my kid will be there next month to see lots of Mustangs, and before you throw a few obscenities at the screen, they're the P51 variety, i.e they fly, plus loads of Spitfires and other assorted warbirds.
See ya Saturday to meet the great man. See you first at about 11am at Vauxhall right?

James, many thanks mate, it was a good turn out and it was good to see all the big Vauxhall's.Made me think a bit, if it wasn't for a fateful desision by someone in GM back in the '70's, we may not have the Holden Commodores that we now all love.
Enjoyed the weather and the plane's too.
Rob, just to let you, I sneaked a piccy of the Mustang whilst you were looking the other way!!
I'll let you have a copy!!he he he!
