Really don’t get the logic behind this .
3 year old previous generation car for more than a brand new one .
What am I missing?

Crazy price. Imagine it has limited market (brown metallic!) .. so trying to move it on could be interesting down the line.
Also, what is the wording ahead of the off-side rear wheel arch, Nakar ... Nakan?!
Thats the Nakamichi logo, purveyors of very high end audio, odd to see it on a Porsche ...Also, what is the wording ahead of the off-side rear wheel arch, Nakar ... Nakan?!

I like both and wouldn't pay extra for a 991 unless a very special car. This car sort of fits in that category for some as you could buy a good spec brand new Golf R for the money it costs to specify her and Porsche exclusive cars do beautifully crafted if sometimes very individual interiors. I'd still go 992 cab instead at same money though but many would go for a 991 whichever generation. Main gripes I hear from 991 owners. They do not like cupholders in 992. Door handles on exterior not tactile. Instrument dials too box saloon. Gearstick too BMW. Also lots of stories of batteries going flat and other electrical probs with 992. Too late no going back now unless you buy an old one!PurpleFox said:
Unrelated but can someone explain this:
Looks like the 991.1 exhaust on the 991.2 I thought all 991.2 had the narrow exhaust in the center unless that is only the sport exhaust....
Thanks in advance.

Hi, on first look it seems this is a 991.1 N/A 911, I’m fairly sure no 991.2 came with quad exhausts from factory . Looks like the 991.1 exhaust on the 991.2 I thought all 991.2 had the narrow exhaust in the center unless that is only the sport exhaust....

The Carrera S came like this on the 991.2 unless speccing the sports exhaust (and most did), when it came with 2 fairly central exhaust tips. The base Carrera had 2 reasonably ugly rectangular tips in this location, but could be specced with sports tips, making it appear as it does on the picture, or with the sports exhaust, where it would again have the 2 fairly central tips.

Yes, I thought there was something odd going on at first, it is definitely a 991.2. As has been suggested, this is the non PSE. The majority of 991.2 must have the PSE because this is something I hadn't seen before. Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
