The evidence is very poor at best for Krill Oil. One has to be very careful not to believe biased "evidence" from people who benefit from you buying novel dietary supplements. You empty their warehouses, they move on to another fad, you have an empty wallet and sometimes just a fishy taste left in the mouth 
This linked article is quite exhaustive, but says that these oils can raise LDL-C levels, which is bad.

and these ones reiterate that Omega-3 supplements can be quite different to medical grade (and thus pharmacologically controlled) doses

But Marine Omega-3 (from wherever you get it, as long as the dose is right, you can trust the supplier and it's not faked) look to reduce deaths:

Personally, I'd just eat oily fish regularly, as has been UK advice for a while now
