Please don't shoot the messenger if it does not happen, but there are rumours that there will be a flypast over Heathrow next week.
The Reds apparently into Brize Tomorrow, which may, or may not be connected.

What's the occasion - a pre-Brexit flypast?

This would be it. 80 years since de Gaulle’s Appel.

Churchill should have told him to shove it, apparently...

I was thinking the Reds could fly a new formation... one that spells F U... yep, you can do that with 9.

Given de Gaulle's attitude to the UK post war, despite him being anti-EU as a political entity, we shouldn't have let the bugger in, back in 1940, and left him there with his German mates.
Quite why we are celebrating his speech I have no idea.

Did they do something like this for the 75th anniversary? I don’t recall anything.

It’s exactly where Heathrow’s zone starts/finishes. Well, it used to be in my flying days.

Interesting that they are going the opposite way to the usual Trooping and normal flypasts over Buck House?

Wowzers! Many a good night was spent in there in the late 80s. The years, not the ages!
