Pretty sick idea of those filmmakers, though. 
Still...the bums agreed. Presumably got paid too. Now they're complaining they did work for money? Hmmmmn. They should never have agreed to it...and their physical addictions are no excuse.
I have no sympathy for any of the parties involved.

It's only a matter of time before the US and then us in the UK (via channel 5 of course) have real syndicated gladiator shows on telly. With real swords blood death and guts etc. Probably using captured Iraqi soldiers / paedophiles (or unlucky paediatricians) or speeding motorists.

Yep! Just the facts of life mate. Take the classic example of the most aggressively homophobic person turning out to be gay. Its a externalisation of what we hate and fear (our shame) inside ourselves. This operates at a societal level as well as individually.
Thus we all find this bum fight unsettling becase it reminds us of the worst aspects and failings of society and ourselves.

Yeah, I can imagin this being done before long from an off-shore ship via satellite.

Currently looking into purchasing the ship nike were using for the footy ads in the summer. (no cantona didn't really sink it....)
