Bike Sales

Is anyone else having problems selling theirs? Mines been advertised for a week now and is the cheapest of its kind on the trader yet all Ive had is spam emails and calls.

Is it the weather ?

I need help.

Any tips ?

Depends what you're trying to sell, how popular is it? And are you asking a fair price for it? I think with modern society it has become easier for people to get credit so there are more people buying new bikes as opposed to second hand ones? Have you tried advertising in Adtrader?

I'm just not using it dude.... I hate road riding these days & it's a very expensive track only tool - I've always got hubbies 600rr at my disposal if I need my fix.

Imo it is not realistic to put a car or motorcycle up for sale and EXPECT to sell it in a week or so, I think you have to give it 6 or 8 weeks, unless you are literally giving it away......

Just look in auto trader or MCN to see how many bikes are for sale at any one time, there is a lot of competition out there.....

I don't see it as 'losing' mate! I wouldn't replace Kitty Car with something that has lower performance (or sex appeal)

reckon you should buy Incorrigibles Duke and a TVR to replace the S2000.

I've owned a very nice 748 before - nice bike but I'd always want something different, I'd also have concerns over the soggy suspension plus the fact I'm trying to get rid of owning a bike not replace it.

As for TVR.... ooooh one of the reasons I went for the S was reliability, another was build quality, another was reliability, another was reliability..... another was lack of catch a fire ability etc. etc.

Your not putting a sensible head on are you....don't do it!!!!!!
Mrs Vitesse made me put a sensible head on and sell the kinda non standard SD1 Vitesse I had and I still reget it to this day. I now have to try to get Baby Vitesse on my side!!!!

As for TVRs, I have seen far more Ferraris on recovery trucks or at the side of the road (and they aren't a common sight) than TVRs.
And a TVR at idle sounds awsome nevermind once it's going!!!!
