Automated Photo Printers

[VEX]

Does anyone know of or use a commercial print house that could take an email order with photos, print them and drop ship them.

Likely batches of 3 to 6 or 7

Ideally I would want to automate as much as possible so that the e-commerce store pings and email direct to printer with hi-res images and a shipping address.

Got an idea brewing.

Might do better on the Photo forum.

I don't think you'll find many services which use email for automation, but there are plenty of products out there which do this via an API/web service. You'd need to connect whatever you're processing the orders with to the chosen service which might need some custom development work doing, but it's pretty standard stuff and you may find that there's a ready made solution out there depending on what you're using.

I had a look at the photo forum and some good ideas and site ideas with hosting and printing.
