I’m with Manning, renewal early next month & not had my quote yet so will have to chase.

I changed from Lockton as they stopped recognising NCB & I’d built up a full no claims on a second car so was keen to retain.

Would be interested in hearing other people’s opinions just in case I have to move. I know from experience that Manning is a ‘take it or leave it’ price with no room for negotiation.

Lockton. They don't recognise NCB, that's true. But are still significantly cheaper than Manning every year for me.

NCB is recognised by most insurers for around 2yrs if it hasn't been on a car. Lockton also said if someone ever leaves them they are happy to provide documentation of a no-claims period which some insurers may accept. Worth checking yourself though.

£740 doesn't actually sound too bad for a GT3, though always worth negotiating if that's their first renewal offer. I'm not with Manning, but mine is usually hiked up about 6% each year, and each time I have to call up to say I'd like to cancel, at which time they give me their 'lowest price'.
Also worth trying https://www.moneybeach.co.uk/guides/performance-ca... - they tend to have different insurers than the main comparison sites so you might find something a bit lower cost (or you'd at least verify that Manning's price is reasonable!)

Might be worth trying Henderson Taylor, pretty competitive and include 5 days track insurance, which if that's your thing, could save you quite a bit of money.

I have been using Churchill insurance as they seem to be the only company that doesn’t hate south London now. They don’t worry about the car being garaged or business use on nice days, post code and number of miles is all they are interested in. It won’t be a guaranteed value but their market price for my car is fair

Just a letter from a recognised Porsche specialist fine. Maybe ask indy you bought car from? I swap between A Manning and CL. Only when you swap do they both ask for agreed valuation again. Both cover atco organised track days too. A Manning you’re always covered. CL you must call before each say PCGB or ATCO track day. I like A Manning very much but they’re not competitive this year. £750 v £550 I though it was worth the hassle. Both v.good .
