Motor racing game discs with windows 10?

Hi Just updated my pc with windows 10 ...now my favourite games ...Colin McRae rally 4 & Gtr evolution ( the one with the Nurburgring on it) don't work....does anyone know which disc games I could purchase ( with WRC & Nurburgring content) that work with windows 10 or would a steam account be the best bet. I prefer just the hard copy on disc..Thanks in advance. Ian

Not a days the dish just provides secrets to the download anyway, every game dreams to come with a 20gb patch.

Just get some used ones from CEX or GAME.
Steam is just an extra ecosystem they want to keep you trapped in. There is no need for it.

My advice is to get a steam account and keep an eye on the following.

Humble bundle (Steam Keys)
Fanatical (Steam Keys)
GOG.com (GOG do DRM free games, but don't do many driving titles).

For game deals.

I think Humble have a codemasters bundle on at the moment. Redeem the games on steam and download.

Tried running my games in compatibility mode ( thanks quartzdad) but no joy...think best way forward will be steam...had a good look around game suppliers and can get the WRC games I like easy enough. However the descriptions ( type of cars and particular tracks ) on some of the racing games were lacking detail. Anyone point me in the direction of a specific game that has "the ring" on it.
