1.9 tdi hacking me off
Discussion
I've got a pd150 ARL mk4 golf that's really getting on my tatas now. I had the turbo replaced over a week ago and seemed to run fine, however had sluggish movement up until 2100 revs then the turbo would go wild. I've also replaced the maf sensor in April because that went.
Today I came out of work. Done around 1 mile and the car went in to limp mode like it did before with my maf and turbo. I pulled over and restarted but did hear the turbo on gear change temporarily and then stopped.
Repeated this twice after and still had the same issue but without the turbo whistle. I've also had a slightly rough/bouncing idle and hesitation in 1st/2nd gears as well as difficulty starting on cold and got with blue smoke (car stalls after cranking up)
It's really struggling to build up any power as if it's got a 50cc moped engine inside. I'm getting so frustrated with this car now. I've had it scanned 3 times at 3 different places and it doesn't throw up any codes. I don't have access to a vag-com and the only thing I can think of last resort is the map sensor. The symptoms of a bad map sound like what I have.
Any help would be great. I'll give it a test drive again once it's cooled down.
Thanks in advance.

Just took it out now the engines cooled. Because I live on a cul de sac I have to turn around so in first gear pulling off, it seemed like it was about to stall. Same when I reversed before driving down the road. Turned out my drive and drive like it did before slightly sluggish then the turbo violently kicks in. Had no limp mode or anything out the ordinary.
I had similar problems with a mk4 (110 Though).
Every now and then it wouldn’t boost, happened once during an overtake, that was a bit embarrassing!
I used to send it up on the ramps and grab the actuator rod with some grips and give it a wiggle whilst spraying some wd40 on the pivots. It’d be ok then for another couple of months

Since my last post the car still starts but stalls and it will take a couple times for it to run. The engine splutters but then runs fine. It's very slow getting up to 2100 rpm but then the turbo does it's magic properly. The only other issue I have (which i had a lot of before new turbo installed) is when i come off the motorway, I'll come to a set off lights and stop, then once green it's in limp mode and very slow.
This has happened once since the new turbo fit but happened regularly before installation. It's just hard pin pointing the problem cause it's anything on a vag.
