We bought a plumbed in one from these people years ago. Lord knows how much we have saved on rent and bottles of water.

So on hot days, you'd make your staff go home and fill the bottle up again if they were thirsty? While I do enjoy magic taps at the various places I work at, some hot, some icy, some fizzy, I'm struggling to see the need and thus the expense. Brought up Yorkshire, that's my issue

Brought up Yorkshire, that's my issue I could be wrong, but I read it that the OPs original point was to get a water cooler to avoid everyone having to use the same tap/kitchen facility.
Clearly tap water is fine (hasn't killed me yet), if the set up can satisfy a coronavirus risk assessment of doom. Though in most large offices, people do tend to expect a water cooler these days for some reason.

There aren't any. I prefer the one with the 20litre replaceable plastic bottle on top, rather than plumbed in. I have one here in my flat, and had one in my house in South Africa before I sold it.weve moved office and the idea is not to mix with other sections,

The supplier should deal with the cleaning/disinfecting. They usually just take it away every few months and replace it with one that's just been disinfected. Mine has the added bonus of a small fridge in the base unit big enough for a dozen cans.
