It’s not working is it.
This morning I was talking to a tradesman on site. Tradesmen don’t do 2m it seems, so he was all up in my face.
Later I went to buy some running shoes. The shop assistant’s glasses were steaming up, so she took off her mask. We both handled my credit card and the machine.
As I type I am having a nice cup of tea, that I bought from a cafe. The chap serving made sure the cup lid was firm by gripping it from all angles and pushing it on, before giving it a good firm press with his palm to be sure.
Only the young and skinny will survive until Christmas.

ks that B&Q are doing. Trolley mandatory, isles blocked off at one end, no signage of any help. I walked out today and don’t think I’ll be going back in a hurry.
Social distancing is a complete and utter disaster. They’d be better off opening everything as per the old normal and just mandate a face covering if people are still scared.

or how about just because were open , you dont have to come , if youre old and frail and riddled with illness consider staying at home , same when pubs open etc ...you dont have to go Social distancing is a complete and utter disaster. Given its only 14% IFR for over 90 year olds that obviously biased towards those with pre diagnosed conditions then the chances are you'll be perfectly fine.

I finished my cuppa outside a bar. Standing only. Black dude well in his cups approached by white chap and they did a handshake followed by a hug.
I agree that we need to reopen everything immediately and only the old and infirm should stay at home. Okay my observations extend to half an afternoon, but it is clear to me that social distancing is unlikely to be particularly effective.

I've stopped using my local Tesco recently. Who wants to queue to go into a supermarket and then get moaned at for setting one foot down an empty aisle to grab something from the shelf?

Not to mention that some people go the extreme and will not walk past someone who is browsing part of the shop, so inevitably causes a queue of several people whilst everyone waits patiently. It’s silly isn’t it! What a load of crap. I HAD to use a basket to go get a new tap. Ffs. It’s just 1 more thing to touch isn’t it ks that B&Q are doing.
