Supercar Sunday

Hello to you all. This is my first posting, but been reading for some time.

I just want to know did anyone see the convoy of 80+ Supercars from Lamborghini Wycombe to Supercar Sunday at Gaydon yesterday?

Let me know, because it was awesome, and I want to know if anybody else saw it. £10 million of cars on the road in one place, to be joined by another 400 Supercars at the show!

Jaguar XJ220, Mercedes Mclaren SLR, 15+ Diablos, 13+ Countach, 9+ Gallardos, 2 Murcielagos, so many Ferraris and Aston Martins, Bugatti EB110 SS, and an Enzo and 2 Dauer Bugatti EB110 SS at the show.

I was there in the green Mondial T.
And on Saturday at the Coys/Octane event at Blenheim Palace.
A truly great petrolhead weekend.

Yes, I was invited by Modena cars and was part of the convoy from High Wycombe. I have been in a few supercar convoys, but this is unsurpassed...

I got in for free as I work next door...

...much better day than I expected, SOOO many beautiful cars in excellent condition. Some really rare stuff too, so much so that I almost ignored the TVRs and Porsches! Fave of the day was either the SLR (looks in the flesh), or that Diablo with the uber-loud exhaust!

Oh, and Russ Swift was on fine form!

Yes it was fantastic. Does anyone have any pictures? I think there are a few on the Viper forum.

i was there too. graham of modena said 84 cars were present. plus there were a few around the car park. i didnt do a count but there could have been 90ish, if graham was correct. the convoy up the m40 got split up due to the traffic lights and roundabout, but it must have been an awesome sight. it was the biggest lambo get together ever in the uk. most id seen before was around 30 at a pub meet! i have pics but not sure how to post here.

Yeh - it was a great show - I was with the Esprit bunch. But I did chat to the Maserati guys. It is too awesome a sight to see so many supercars together - tremendous.

Just to let you all know that official pictures will be available from Wednesday 22nd June on www.4x4navigation.com.

These pictures are of the whole show, and the Modena Cars/ Lamborghini Wycombe guests going around the track at Aston Martin.

The Police turned up at Modena Cars after some local residents complained about the noise, and they thought that it was such a stunning gathering that they closed the road, and cleared the M40 of all Police patrols so that everyone could have a little bit of fun.

You don't get that with a scamera!
