A bit of a random one but do any of you have any experience getting or sending "British" style sausages overseas? I'm specifically trying to get some to my father-in-law in Poland as he's been unwell for some time and really misses a traditional "banger".

Personally I'm all about the Polish sausages and on occasions when I've driven to see him I've taken sausage from the UK that I've frozen and brought back loads from there (best car air freshener!) but obviously visiting isn't an option currently so I'm trying to find some kind of mail order option.

I've Googled and tried looking at the butchers around Warsaw but no joy as yet so I thought I'd ask on here on the off-chance someone might have an idea.

I'd speak to some of the UK based online butchers. Guarantee they will do 24 hour delivery with dry ice packs etc

Not as good as a real butcher but completely hassle free - https://www.britishcornershop.co.uk/

I love a Lincolnshire or Cumberland sausage, but a Polish Kielbasa will blow your doors off, especially if you have a couple accompanied by diced potatoes and sliced peppers.
It’s good with czarna kawa, similar to espresso coffee, or piwo, (beer), but I prefer straight vodka.

Aside from the £6.19 for a pack of Heck (I appreciate I'm going to have to pay more but crikey) they aren't selling chilled products currently frown

Definitely one to keep an eye on fof the future though so thanks.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of sending from here and I guess that's been my downfall, finding an artisan English sausage maker in Eastern Europe that does mail order was never going to be as easy as finding a specialist Polish sausage maker in the UK (there's 2 locally I believe).
