Just discovered Johnny Hartman

Has taken me all my life to discover Johnny Hartman & it wasn't until I was asked to write & broadcast a jazz programme that I came across just one track on a radio stations music list, Probably one of the most overlooked jazz singers with a voice like dark satin he worked for Earl Hines & Errol Garner yet whose career never reached the peak that his talents warranted finishing up as just another lounge singer.. But he did collaborate with John Coltrane on what has become a jazz classic, the 1963 album JOHN COLTRANE AND JOHNNY HARTMAN.
Thus the joy of music you never ever know it all.
