Oh dear, I think I broke it

Couldn't get a clutch slave cylinder repair kit, so decided to get a complete new slave cylinder.

First mistake was deciding to fit it myself :smash:

The pipe hole on the new slave housing was smaller than the 1/4 inch pipe :weeping:, not realising and attempting to force the issue I burst the clutch pipe :weeping::weeping:, decided to get new pipe made up and use old slave cylinder body with new piston and seal/spring.

While taking slave cylinder off I managed to somehow knock the pivot arm out of place so it was loose :weeping::weeping::weeping: there was no spring action it just went in and out :confused:

Spent many hours over the weekend fiddling about and managed to get the pivot arm to spring back *somehow* :confused: Put everything back together and surprise surprise - no clutch :weeping::weeping:, kept on pumping the pedal and then after a *bang* I had a clutch again :o

Now - car has been fine, but last night when it absolutley pi:censored:ed it down I changed gear and the clutch wouldn't enagage as if it was slipping, so I kicked the clutch pedal down and the car lurched into gear as if the mechanism was sticking!

Have I somehow damaged the pivot arm, or does it just need adjusting?
