I have tried searching through forums etc but can't see to find an aftermarket exhaust for my 2005 330ci.
I'm after a cat back or just a back box for a bit more noise!
Nothing on ebay either.
Can someone point me in the right direction?!
What's the best forum?
Cheers

try a custom exhaust company, I live near 2 in the south west, longlife and infinity, I found they can be cheaper too and tailor to your needs

Pd gough in Nottingham says around £200 to chop off backbox and straight pipe it - does that sound reasonable!?

Cheaper than the cat back solutions linked above. laugh

Doesn't sound unreasonable Tbf. Probably a couple hours of labour to take off old back box, weld on pipes, and refit.
Just bear in mind will be done to your existing exhaust so how easily can you reverse it?

Forgive my lack of knowledge on this, will is impact your future MOT pass-ability?

Pd gough in Watnall did a great job.
But it might be a little loud. Sounds great though! Very difficult to video but heres some pics.
Maybe it will quieten a bit when its coked up. Or maybe I'll get a small silencer put in!

I'd be interested to see (hear!) a video of that. What's it like at cruising speed? The trick is quiet at cruise but loud on the throttle.

My car is an auto, which I think is probably worse for the noise. It's really boomy around 1800 to 2000 revs which on light throttle, is where the auto sits a lot! I'll try get a vid sometime. It sounds great apart from that.
